Welcome to the First organized in 1989, the Illinois Rural Health Association (IRHA) is a collaborative association comprised of hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, public health departments, individual clinicians, educational institutions, students and elected officials, whose mission is to strengthen health systems for rural residents and communities through advocacy, education, networking and leadership. Illinois Rural Health Happenings IRHA's Fall Webinar Series Workplace Violence Prevention Program Integration of Mental Health Services into Rural Health Clinics Overview of NEW 2024 CMS Rules for Rural Health Clinics 2023 Annual Educational Conference a Success! Thanks to everyone who was able to join us in Champaign for our recent 34th Annual Educational Conference Aug 9-10th. We had a record number of 190 attendees and 40 exhibitors. Attendees had 18 educational sessions to choose from plus hear from our keynote Speaker Brock Slabach, COO of the National Rural Health Association, who provided an detailed overview of latest federal issues impacting rural health. Attendees were able to relax at night and get to know each other better at our Evening Networking Dinner held at Farren's Pub & Eatery where they enjoyed a Mexican buffet and team trivia. |
