Welcome to the First organized in 1989, the Illinois Rural Health Association (IRHA) is a collaborative association comprised of hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Rural Health Clinics, public health departments, individual clinicians, educational institutions, students and elected officials, whose mission is to strengthen health systems for rural residents and communities through advocacy, education, networking and leadership. The Illinois Rural Health Association is accepting articles and ads for our Spring Newsletter. The newsletter is a great way to gain exposure to Illinois' rural health community and is distributed to over 650 IRHA members, rural hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, public health departments and 177 members of the Illinois General Assembly.
Articles should be submitted by a current IRHA member, on a topic related to rural health and should be no more than 450 words AND include a headline, name, title and head shot of the author, as well as a picture or graphic related to the article.
